Chicagoans that missed the Taste of Iceland this past weekend can still take part in the culinary festivities. The limited time menu, has been extended and will continue to be served at Cité Elegant Dining at the Top of Lake Point Tower through March 31.The four-course prix-fixe menu is part of Chicago’s Taste of Iceland festival. Icelandic Chef Thrainn Freyr Vigfússon, coach of the Icelandic Culinary Team and Icelandic Chef of the Year, collaborated with Cité Restaurant’s Culinary Director Martial Noguier and Executive Chef Oscar Ornelas to design the limited-time menu.

The Icelandic menu features flavors and plated dishes that utilize quintessential Icelandic ingredients and imported Icelandic proteins. The restaurants’ complete a la carte menu will be available, which features American Contemporary cuisine with a French Flair.

Managing Member/Owner Dr. Dame Evangeline Gouletas and Manager Isos Monroe decided to extend the menu’s availability.“We are excited to continue serving this excellent menu and want to thank Chef Vigusson for bringing this incredible cuisine to our restaurant,” says Dame Evangeline. “We have extended the timeframe for serving the menu so that our guests can come back and share this amazing Icelandic cuisine with friends. After this incredible collaboration, visiting Iceland is definitely next on my list of places to travel to!”
