Food Holiday Charity Event Dessert

Your New Years Resolution to cut the sweets has a guilt-free exception on February 2. On Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is debuting a brand new, limited time flavor and better yet, 100% of profits will benefit She Should Run -- the nonpartisan organization committed to getting 250,000 women to run for office by 2030.

The limited flavor will be Banana French Toast-a creamy custard banana base, notes of pure maple syrup in the ice cream itself and a crunchy french toast gravel with cinnamon. The ice cream will only be available in scoop shops and is expected to sell out on February 2.

In addition, the Jeni’s scoop shops in Chicago are partnering with Volumes Bookcafe and Intelligentsia Coffee and will get the celebrations started when doors open extra early at 9:00 am. All profits will go to She Should Run until 12:00 pm, but Chicago will want to get there early since the exclusive flavor may only last the day.

Jeni’s Scoop Shops in Chicago:

  • Southport - 3404 N. Southport Ave. Chicago, IL 60657

  • Wicker Park - 1505 N Milwaukee Ave Chicago, IL 60622

  • North Wells - 1419 N. Wells St., 1S Chicago, IL 60610

For those who can’t make it to a scoop shop, they’re offering a special Ice Cream for Breakfast Day collection that will be available to order from the Jeni’s website January 22 - February 2. The collection features six of Jeni's favorite ice creams to enjoy before noon. And just like in shops, 100% of profits from this collection will be donated to She Should Run.

The Ice Cream for Breakfast Day collection includes:

■ Brambleberry Crisp
■ Brown Butter Almond Brittle
■ Coffee with Cream & Sugar
■ Cream Puff
■ Gooey Butter Cake
■ Milkiest Chocolate
