Italian Lincoln Park

Bobby’s Lincoln Park, 2518 N. Lincoln Ave, is welcoming winemaker Antonio Zaccheo Jr. of Carpineto Vineyards in Tuscany Italy, for an exclusive Five Course Winemaker Dinner on Monday, October 21 beginning at 7 p.m. For $90 each, guests will receive five paired courses throughout the evening, each complemented with a handpicked wine by Antonio for the Tuscan experience.

Wine enthusiasts will begin the evening with a Hiramasa Crudo, complete with a Hibiscus Reduction, Apricot, Fresh Herbs, and Ellis Farms Honey, paired with the 2018 Dogajolo Toscana Rosato. Guests will then delve into a Seared Foie Gras and Mousse, with Preserved Local Plums, Brioche, Pickled Mustard Seed and Plum Gastrique, complemented with a 2017 Chianti Classico.

The journey through Tuscany continues with a Chianti Braised Pork Belly, created with Confit Cherry Tomato, a Red Wine Reduction, Baby Greens, and a Sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette, balanced off with a fuller bodied 2015 Chianti Classico Riserva.

The fourth course includes a Seared Allan Brothers N.Y. Strip, with a Braised Short Rib, Parmesan and Cauliflower Cream, Pickled Red Onion, Shaved Cauliflower, and a Baby Arugula Salad, combined with the dark and earthy 2015 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva.

To end on a sweet note, patrons will indulge in a Cherry-Chocolate Ganache, with a Cherry-Lime Tuile, Poached Bing Cherries, Dehydrated Mousse, White Chocolate Snow, and a Chocolate Gelato, accompanied with a 1999 Vin Santo – a sweeter dessert wine.

Each five-course dinner is $90, not including tax or gratuity. To purchase tickets to the Five Course Winemaker Dinner featuring Carpineto Vineyards or to learn more, please contact the restaurant at 773.799.8555.
