B.GOOD, the farm-to-table restaurant chain, has announced a partnership with No Kid Hungry in an effort to help end childhood hunger.

Throughout the month of February, for every kid’s meal ordered, B.GOOD will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry, which can provide 10 meals to children in need. B.GOOD is aiming to donate enough for 150,000 meals over the course of the month.

“When schools are on break, many kids don’t have access to the nutritious meals they typically get – and as a result, they often go hungry,” said Chris Fuqua, Chief Executive Officer, B.GOOD. “Between school vacation week and snow days, we know that February can be a particularly challenging time of year. We’re happy to do our part, together with No Kid Hungry, to help make sure more kids have access to the food they need to be their best selves.”

No Kid Hungry works with local organizations around the country to generate the will and the skill to help communities, including all of the ones where B.GOOD has a presence, feed children in need every day of the year. They are ending childhood hunger by connecting kids to effective programs such as school breakfast, after school and summer meals.

”It’s hard to believe, but 1 in 6 children in America lives with hunger,” said Diana Hovey, Senior Vice President at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign. “We’re excited to be partnering with B.GOOD and their guests to help ensure that every kid has access to three meals a day.”

The No Kid Hungry promotion, which will run at all 61 U.S. locations (including the 3 Chicagoland locations), will apply to orders in-store, online and via the B.GOOD app.
