At 4Star Restaurant Group, they look forward to patio season for all of the obvious reasons: rosé, dogs and sunshine. The dog days of summer aren’t quite over yet—so they are dedicating August 26th—National Dog Day—to their favorite patio guests (and their humans).  

THE SMOKE DADDY WICKER PARK

Head to Smoke Daddy Wicker Park on National Dog Day for Beers & Ears, a dog-friendly patio party in support of PAWS Chicago from 4-10pm. They will celebrate their four-legged friends with beers from Lagunitas, free pig ear treats, and a doggie pool to keep everyone cool while they have fun in the sun. A portion of the event’s proceeds go to PAWS Chicago.

CROSBY’S KITCHEN

Calling all dog moms and dads: bring your fur-babies to Crosby’s Kitchen for dinner on National Dog Day. They will be serving up $5 dog-friendly dishes like cornbread bones, chicken and biscuits and ice cream with mint milk bones all day—and dogs eat free from 4-6pm.

Grab the pups and stop by Tuco & Blondie in the heart of the Southport Corridor. Their special dog menu features $5 dog-friendly treats like the bark-rito (flour tortilla, rice, beans and ground beef) and soft serve ice cream with mint milk bones will be available all day—and dogs eat free from 4-6pm.
