Fat Tuesday Polish

Paczki (pronounced pawnch-ki) Day is here, and that means going to town on that sweet sweet goodness. To make sure you make it in to your local bakery, we're providing a snapshot of the action around town.

Delightful Pastries is ready to serve in several locations. If you're traveling through Ogilvie, check them out in the French Market.

Sugar Hills Bakery is polish owned and operated, and have been preparing for Paczki day for quite a while. If you're in the neighborhood you can't go wrong.

We know Alliance Bakery is getting their Paczki pumps primed, and based on last year's selection this will be good.

Glazed and Infused isn't messing around with their offering, adding Nutella to the mix. They're all over the city, scroll to the bottom of this post to get directions.

"The traditional reason for making paczki was to use up all the lard, sugar, eggs and fruit in the house before Lent."

Dinkel's Bakery is making, and I quote, a ton of paczki. That said, there's also a line policy to keep civil order.

Firecakes caught our eye with their take on paczki. You can almost taste it...

We know we missed a lot of amazing places, so feel free to help us out by leaving your favorite Paczki Day spot in the comments below.
