This March, Kindling at Chicago’s Willis Tower is transforming their second-floor bar space into a Pop-A-Shot tournament which will be available to play from March 19 through April 8, with tournament competitions during the Final Four weekend.

The team is partnering with Japanese bars from the US and Japan – Bar Trench, Katana Kitten, SG Club, and Bar Goto. The Japanese bars and guest bartenders will collaborate directly with the Three Dots and a Dash bar team. To enhance the ambiance of the listening room, music will emanate from a retro jukebox, spinning vinyl 45s carefully curated for the experience.
The event will feature a menu of six specialty cocktails utilizing spirits from Suntory's portfolio. A selection of exclusive and rare Japanese whiskeys will also be available for select pours with guided tasting led by the central US Suntory brand ambassador, Davey Jones. Each menu will be inspired by the bar’s offerings rooted in traditional techniques and flavors found in the Japanese bar scene. A selection of limited tastings will also be available. Pre-Paddy’s Day Bottomless Brunch with music and entertainment
10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Bottomless Brunch: Adults $32; Children under 6 are $23. Add on bottomless (Green) Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s or Margaritas. This brunch features a wide variety of tastes and treats, including Chief O’Neill’s white and milk chocolate fountains. In addition to offering their usual brunch menu and bar offerings (featuring bottomless bubbles, mimosas, and Bloody Marys galore!), Executive Chef Marcel Heiduk is going all in with a handful of specials available just for the weekend. Hop aboard one of Chicago Electric Boat Company’s new heated 22-foot Luxury Duffy Boats, which are fully enclosed with personal space heaters, and a BYOB cruise down green water. Each boat can fit up to 12 people and is complete with a Bluetooth sound speaker and coolers of ice to keep your choice of Irish food and booze chilled for the whole voyage. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago's celebration will kick off on March 13th and continue through March 17th. With nine sessions spread across five days, the brewery will offer an indoor-outdoor celebration including a tap list with both locally brewed beers and Dublin-brewed favorites, a menu full of St. Patrick’s Day fare, live entertainment, and a fully stocked retail shop with St. Patrick’s Week merchandise that can only be found at the Open Gate Brewery. The week will include a proper Chicago Block Party on Saturday, March 16 through Sunday, March 17.
Options will include limited-edition St. Patrick’s Week Beers including a Clover Honey Ale, an Irish Breakfast Tea Amber Ale, an Irish Coffee-Inspired Beer and Dublin classics like Harp Lager, Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale and the iconic Guinness Draught Stout.

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap in North Center will open early at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. Two $30 per person food and drink packages will be available throughout the day for guests who book a table of 4 to 6.

Party-goers can pair their drinks with bottomless pancakes available for $10.

Sweet Mandy B’s, the old fashioned bakeshop in Lincoln Park and Streeterville, will offer St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats available from Wednesday, March 13 through Sunday, March 17. In recognition of the legend associated with St. Patrick, who stood atop an Irish hillside and banished the snakes from Ireland, Remedy will offer a “Day O’ The Snakes” special available all weekend featuring $6 Snake Bites.
